I cannot believe Ryder is almost seven months old! The time is passing too fast. Ryder is pretty much over RSV. I am glad to say that it never moved down to his chest. When I talked to the doctor on how to help him get over it quickly and help it not get any worse, he told me to become best friends with the bulb syringe. Poor little Ryder was getting his nose sucked every hour for two days. I am happy to say that it was pretty successful and he really has no signs of being sick. I am also happy to say that he getting better at sitting up on is his own. I am still not comfortable to leave him sitting alone but hopefully it won’t be too much longer. So it is now for certain that Ryder has to wear a helmet. We had his appointment today with the pediatric plastic surgeon and he highly recommends that he wear one. We pretty much knew that he needed one and were told that most insurance do not cover them. When I was doing some research on the pricing of helmets I found they usually cost around two thousand dollars! With Darren’s work cutting back on hours I was a little concerned on how we were going to pay for everything. Lucky for us his worked switched providers this month and it looks like the new insurance is going to cover it, Yeah!
