I like to think Valentines day is a day to show love and appreciation to anybody and not just your significant other. So I am perfectly happy staying in and celebrating Valentines day with friends and family, and have you tried to go out to dinner on this day? CRAZY! I much rather have Darren come home and surprise me with a date night on a night that is not expected.
On this Valentines day My sweet hubby got up and made heart shaped pancakes, bacon and egg breakfast it was delicious! A little later the kids and I decided to take advantage of the weather being in the 50's and went to the park. Unfortunately, not long after we got there the sun went behind some clouds and a cooler breeze started up and forced us to go back indoors. Overall we a pretty good day and I was happy to spend it with my family!
