Grease Monkey

My in-laws could think this post is referring to their new Grease Monkey that just opened in American Fork a couple days ago but unfortunately it is about my own little monkey named Ryder. Ryder is a climber he climbs anything everywhere. The other day I noticed he was playing happily with Azelynn so I took that moment to try to get ready for the day. I know I usually don't have a lot of time before Ryder gets bored and finds something to get into so I am pretty speedy. I also no longer get to listen to music when getting ready, I have to be able to listen and make sure Ryder is not getting into trouble. Well I found myself having more time then usual. Ryder had not found his way to me and I did not hear him pattering around in the kitchen. I was thinking wow this is good he is starting to play with toys more. So I ran down stairs just to make sure things were going well and that is when I found the grease monkey. He had dragged a kitchen chair across the floor (which usually always makes a loud noise)and was on the counter playing in the grease mug. He had put it all through his hair and all over the outside and inside of his ear. I had him in my favorite gray pants and they were covered as well as one of his nicer button up shirts. It took me three hair washing to get the grease out of his hair and I think I can still smell bacon in his ear. As for his clothes I am still working on them. I am now wondering if there is anyway I make tying chairs the table look good.

unfortunately I did not get a picture of this incident I ripped his clothes off and got them soaking as fast as I could.

Wow, I would have freaked out. Glad no permanent damage was done, (like Azelynn's haircut).
